Every two years, The Unconformity Cup transforms Queenstown’s legendary gravel oval into a battleground of grit and glory. This isn’t just any game–it’s a biennial footy match of mythical proportions, set in the heart of a festival that’s built from the ground down in Queenstown.
The Cup sees The West take on The Rest in a clash for eternal bragging rights. With the ultimate homeground advantage, the West are hungry to reclaim the Cup after the 2023 loss.
Supported by the Tasmania Devils, the Cup is open to players of all genders and all abilities—a raw celebration of participation, community, and the lifeblood of West Coast footy.
At the close of the festival, when Queenstown is alive with art and energy, locals and visitors come together on the gravel for one final showdown—the community’s chance to blow off steam and show the world how the West does it.
