The Unconformity festival will be held from 16–19 October 2025.
The Unconformity festival is held in and around Queenstown, on Lutruwita/Tasmania’s West Coast. Queenstown is approximately a four-hour drive from both Launceston and Nipaluna/Hobart.
Tickets go on sale 10am on Friday 29 August. West Coast locals will have access to presale tickets from 10am-5pm on Tuesday 26 August.
Ticketing information and FAQs can be found here.
This year we are pleased to offer a free bus service running daily from Strahan and Burnie through to Queenstown, with stops in Tullah, Rosebery, and Zeehan. Details on bookings and the timetable can be found here.
There will be a designated smoking area at Crib Road and Grooved Erratic. All other venues/shows do not permit smoking.
The Unconformity is a busy, high-traffic festival with a mix of indoor and outdoor venues, live performance, and food service areas. For the comfort and safety of all visitors (and dogs), we ask that pets are not brought into festival venues, event spaces, or food areas.
Crib Road and surrounding public spaces remain open to the public, and we understand some people may pass through with their dogs. Please keep dogs on a leash and under control at all times.
Accredited assistance and service animals are, of course, welcome throughout the festival.
Please take any found property to the Festival Information Booth so it can be logged and kept safe. If you’ve lost an item, head to the Festival Information Booth to see if anyone has handed in your item, or log your details in case it shows up.
The Unconformity’s highest priority is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all people involved with the festival. We all have a responsibility to ensure that The Unconformity festival is a safe place for audiences, artists, staff, volunteers and our local community. Please remember to not attend the festival if you are feeling unwell.
The Unconformity acknowledges the palawa people as the original and traditional custodians of Lutruwita/Tasmania. We commit to working respectfully to honour their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to this land.
